Cimarron is a multi talented and highly successful upper level dressage and FEI eventing horse. He was high score in the nation at his stallion licensing pretest for ISR Oldenburg scoring 8.5 on all gaits and riedeability. Inspectors noted his great mind and gaits in all of his offspring as well saying, "We need more stallions with a great mind like Cimarron."

Cimarron's sire Columbus was imported from the German Holsteiner verband and had a very successful career in competion and breeding. His legacy includes an enormous number of winning jumpers and dressage horses in Europe and America. Columbus is by Calypso ll, the famous show jumping champion son of Cor de la Bryere who sired over 40 approved stallion sons and is considered one of the most important sons of "Corde." Corde is one of the eternal top 10 most influential and important stallions of all time. He revolutionised jumping horse breeding worldwide with his royal French bloodlines that include the great Furioso ll. He also sired top dressage talent like World Cup dressage champion and Olympic winner Corlandus. He has sired a staggering 20 top ranked stallion sons worldwide. Columbus is 1/2 brother to the world renown Contender and many others.

Cimarron's damsire Laredo is a direct son of legendary Ladykiller xx who is ranked 3rd in WBFSH (World Breeder's Federation of Sport Horses) The French TB Ladykiller founded the L-line that influenced warmblood breeding worldwide siring 41 graded sons including the twin pillars of Holstein Landgraf and Lord. C and L-lineage is widely accreditied for the fact that Holsteiner horses capture more than 35% of world class horse show competition prizes while comprising only 6% of the participants!
