 Involved with horses in childhood. Re-established connection with them in '93 and began combined training toward the goal of eventing. Began training, instructing and eventing in the mid 90's.

 President of the Backcountry Horseman of California, San Joaquin Sierra Unit from 1998-2001. Organized volunteers for the preservation of wilderness, equestrian education and trail maintenance/repair. Represented horse associations with the State of CA in the development of certified weed free feed programs to slow the propagation of noxious weeds throughout CA.

 Stood APHA/AWS/ AHHA breeding stallions plus co-manages breeding operations on the farm.
